Inter are set to meet again with Fernando Felicevich, the agent of Arturo Vidal, as they press on in their pursuit of signing his client according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere della Sera.
Vidal is believed to be Inter’s number one transfer target this month and seemingly wants out of Barcelona have become unsettled over his lack of starts this season and the Blaugrana’s failure to pay him some €2.4 million worth of bonuses.
Barcelona had originally been absolutely adamant that Vidal would not leave the club but their leadership are understood to have split into two groups. One group wants him to stay whilst the other wants him out of the club as soon as possible.
They continue to demand €20 million for him whilst Inter are hoping to be able to sign him for around the €15 million mark.
The report goes on to add that Premier League side Manchester United have joined the race to sign the former Bayern Munich and Juventus midfielder, who has 18 months left to run on his contract in Catalonia.
