AC Milan have enquired into the availability of Inter’s Italian international winger Matteo Politano, Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports.
According to the report, the Rossoneri have already met with the player’s agents earlier today to discuss a possible transfer during which they were told that the former Sassuolo player is open to making the move.
The player’s wages should also not become a problem as he would suit the Rossoneri’s wage bill easily, especially with rumors suggesting that Fabian Borini and Piatek being close to leaving the club.
Furthermore it is reported that Inter have no objections to letting Politano leave the club to join their cross-town rivals and the two clubs now have to find the formula that suits both clubs in order to conclude the deal.
Politano joined Inter ahead of last season and has since featured 49 times across all competitions scoring 6 goals in the process, but has struggled to find playing time since Antonio Conte took over.
