There will be an expected 70,000 fans in attendance for Inter’s Serie A match at home to Atalanta this weekend, the club have revealed.

Ticket sales are going very well for the match, so much so that the club have had to put tickets on sale for the third tier at San Siro, which is typically only opened for the biggest matches against the likes of Juventus, AC Milan and for European matches.

Inter can currently boast about having the highest average attendance across all of Serie A this season having averaged 63,697 fans per match after nine home games played to date.

Antonio Conte’s Nerazzurri head into this match at the top of the Serie A table but will be coming up against a strong Atalanta side who are pushing to get themselves back into the Champions League places.

The match is scheduled to kick-off at 20:45 local time on Saturday night.
