Asamoah Trained With Rest Of Inter Teammates Yesterday Ahead Of Atalanta Clash

Kwadwo Asamoah continued to train with the rest of his Inter teammates yesterday but did not overdo things according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The Ghanaian defender has only recently returned to training having had bother with the cartilage in one of his knees which has forced him to miss no less than nine games lately.

The 31-year-old has made 11 appearances across all competitions this season and it remains to be seen if he will make that 12 this weekend when Inter play host to Atalanta with it expected that he will at the very least make the bench.

Danilo D’Ambrosio will certainly miss out as he continues to recover from a muscle injury sustained in training that is expected to keep him out until around the end of this month or beginning of next month.

The report from the Roman newspaper goes on to state that Diego Godin should make a return to the starting line-up having had to settle for a few weeks on the bench due to the fine form of youngster Alessandro Bastoni.
