Should Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho give his blessing, a swap deal between Spurs and Inter that would see Christian Eriksen and Matias Vecino exchanged, could take place according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

Eriksen’s contract is due to expire with the north London club at the end of the season and they are seemingly desperate to offload him in January for cash to avoid losing him for nothing, which looks highly likely given the Dane has rejected several contract extensions.

Spurs, as per other reports, want €20 million but Inter will try and tempt them into dealing him away by offering Uruguayan midfielder Matias Vecino in return.

The report goes on to add that Ashley Young should complete a move to Inter from Manchester United next week and Olivier Giroud’s agents are going to try and get Chelsea to drop their demands to enable him to join Antonio Conte’s side as well.
