Inter have grand plans to transform the midfield during this and the next transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Inter are working on a deal to sign Arturo Vidal from Barcelona this month. The Nerazzurri have already offered €12 million to Barcelona but the offer falls some way short of their €20 million demands for the Chilean international, who is understood to be desperate to leave in order to join Inter.

In the event they are unable to land him, they will attempt to sign Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur or Cagliari’s Nahitan Nandez.

In the Summer transfer window, Inter will try their utmost to bring in one of Brescia’s Sandro Tonali and Fiorentina’s Gaetano Castrovilli, two of the highest rated Italian midfield prospects at the moment.

At the end of the season, Inter will almost certainly part ways with Borja Valero and Matias Vecino whilst Roberto Gagliardini’s future with the club is also in doubt.
