Inter are increasing their offer for Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal, in order to convince the club to let the Chilean midfielder leave on loan, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.

The report details how the Nerazzurri are working to increase their offer, closer to the requests of the Catalan club. The new offer will be €2-3 million for the loan, with a €15 million buy option attached, for a total of €17-18 million.

Inter are hoping that these increased figures will convince the Blaugrana, who initially asked for €20 million for the 32-year-old Chilean’s signature.

Vidal, who is contracted to Barcelona until 2021, has made 21 appearances so far this season for the Catalan club, scoring six goals and providing one assist in that time.

He has only started four league games this season, upsetting the player as he feels that he is being underused by coach Ernesto Valverde.
