Inter’s Argentinian striker Lautaro Martinez stopped by Italian broadcaster DAZN to share his thoughts on tonight’s Serie A clash against Atalanta, at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district, with kick-off scheduled for 20.45 CET.

The former Racing Avellanada was asked about his partnership with Belgian international striker Romelu Lukaku, which has worked very well for the Nerazzurri so far this season.

“I have played with a lot of great reputations like Diego Milito and Lisando Lopez but with Romelu we work on the pitch day after day. We have to continue like this for our own sake but also for Inter’s sake.”

Lautaro Martinez joined Inter from Racing Avellanada in the summer of 2018 for a reported fee of €22.8 million and has since then featured 58 times across all competitions scoring 23 goals in the process.

Last season he was mainly used as a back-up striker to Mauro Icardi whilst this season he has excelled in an attacking partnership with Romelu Lukaku, scoring 14 goals in all competitions so far.
