A report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Libero analysed Inter’s current position in regard to signing Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen.

The report details how the 27-year-old Danish midfielder’s agent is currently in Milan, meeting with the Nerazzurri in order to discuss a possible January move for the player. Eriksen’s contract expires with Spurs in June and if the Nerazzurri want to sign him now, it will cost them €20 million, a high figure.

Therefore, Inter are more likely to wait until the summer and then try to sign Eriksen on a free transfer. The Vidal situation is more complicated, the report continues.

Currently the Nerazzurri are waiting to discover the position of the Blaugrana, who have been in the media recently due to rumours that they are looking to replace coach Ernesto Valverde with former midfielder Xavi. A more clear position regarding Vidal is expected next week.
