Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini is wanted by both AC Milan and Premier League side West Ham, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInterNews today.

The report details how the Hammers have started seriously following the 25-year-old Italian midfielder after their first-choice transfer target, Gedson Fernandes, preferred a move to Tottenham. The East London club want to sign Gagliardini on an 18-month loan deal with a buy option attached.

AC Milan are also interested in Gagliardini, the report continues. The Rossoneri requested information about the player from his agent, Giuseppe Riso, who also Mattia Caldara’s agent.

However, the Italian midfielder is likely to remain with Inter this month, the report highlights. Coach Antonio Conte thinks he’s an important option in the midfield department and the player himself is happy at Inter.

Gagliardini joined Inter in January 2017 from Atalanta and has since then featured 85 times across all competitions  scoring 9 goals in the process.
