Atalanta defender José Luis Palomino discussed last night’s 1-1 draw between Inter and the Bergamo based club in an interview with Italian broadcaster DAZN.
“Too bad we didn’t win with the penalty at the end. It was a tough game, in the first half we took stock of the game, then we were better in the second half. We’re still happy, it’s not easy to come here and play against a great team.”
The 30-year-old Argentinian centre back then spoke about the preparations the team undertook for the game against the Nerazzurri and how it felt to mark Romelu Lukaku.
“We prepared for the match as we always do, and it’s clear that playing against Inter charges you. I repeat, it’s a shame we didn’t win, we just hope to keep it that way. The duel with Lukaku? Definitely the most difficult duel since the start of the season on a personal level, he has strength and physique, very hard.”
