Former Palermo and Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin discussed Inter’s 1-1 draw against Atalanta last night in an interview with Italian broadcaster DAZN.

“The result at the San Siro is right, because, although Inter had been ahead for a long time, Atalanta had a great game. And at the end the team coached by Gasperini showed they had something more.”

The Nerazzurri are still top of the league table after yesterday’s draw, although they are now only one point ahead of rivals and reigning champions Juventus, who are playing Roma this evening. The Milanese side will be praying that the Giallorossi will be able to take points in tonight’s game, allowing them to remain on top of the league table.

Atalanta are currently 5th in the league table after 19 games, tied on points with 4th place Roma. The Bergamo based club have impressed in both the league and the Champions League so far this season, progressing out of the group stages in their first ever Champions League campaign.
