Italian journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio discussed the current situation surrounding Inter forward Matteo Politano and AC Milan Franck Kessie during Sky Calcio Show, hosted by Italian media outlet Sky Sports Italia.

“The problem is that at the moment AC Milan do not want to include Kessie in an exchange deal because he should be exchanged for another midfielder. The Rossoneri would like to close the deal for Politano without including the player in the negotiations. It will be an important week for this case.”

The Nerazzurri are looking to sell Italian forward Matteo Politano this month because the player hasn’t settled well in coach Antonio Conte’s tactical system.

The 26-year-old Italian, who is contracted to Inter until 2023, has made 15 appearances across all competitions so far this season for a total of only 315 minutes. He has made only two starts all season and has failed to score a goal or provide an assist.
