Italian journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio discussed Inter’s work in the transfer window in an interview today on the Sky Calcio Show, hosted by Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia.

“The Nerazzurri, having already played, can concentrate on the market. Especially in the Premier League. Because all three operations are going ahead. Giroud is a million short to satisfy Chelsea but negotiations are continuing. Young’s deal is moving ahead because there’s the okay from United but the compensation has to be paid.”

Di Marzio then touched on outgoing Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen.

“And then there’s Eriksen. Inter are waiting for the player’s yes and as soon as that yes will arrive, they’ll proceed with Tottenham in a fast way. These are decisive hours for three operations related to the Premier League and the desire to try to win the league.”

The Nerazzurri are keen to reinforce their squad this month in order to continue the fight against Juventus for the scudetto.
