Inter captain Samir Handanovic discussed the Nerazzurri’s 1-1 draw against Atalanta last night in an interview with Italian broadcaster DAZN.

“What happened in the locker room? What happens there stays there. We knew it was a difficult game today against Atalanta, who have been playing together for a long time and have strong players, they’re also proving themselves in Europe.”

“It wasn’t easy even for them with the game they’re playing, but we did well in the first half. Then in the second half they put us down, the draw is fair.”

Finally, the 35-year-old Slovenian goalkeeper touched on whether or not the squad are thinking about their rivals, Juventus, and their game tomorrow against Roma.

“Juventus? We have to think about improving ourselves, tonight’s match showed we need to improve.”

Handanovic has made 25 appearances across all competitions so far this season, conceding 25 goals in that time and keeping eight clean sheets.
