Inter will meet with AC Milan next week to discuss a possible exchange between Matteo Politano and Franck Kessie, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the arrival of Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud is linked to the sale of Politano, who the Rossoneri are keen on signing. The Rossoneri’s only issue now is that Sassuolo are asking for €20 million for 26-year-old Ghanaian midfielder Alfred Duncan, Milan’s preferred replacement for Kessie.

Therefore, the report continues, the two parties will meet again next week to discuss the pros and cons of the deal as well as trying to help it move forward. Napoli are also interested in Politano, with the Partenopei expecting to sell either Jose Callejon or Dries Mertens this month. If Napoli remain interested in the player, then Inter would be opening to sending Politano down to Naples in exchange for Fernando Llorente, another forward appreciated by coach Antonio Conte.
