Inter are set to meet with Tottenham next week to decide upon a price for the signature of Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen, according to Italian sports journalist Fabrizio Biasin.

The Nerazzurri are looking to sign the 27-year-old Dane, whose contract expires with Spurs this June, in order to strengthen the club’s midfield and help them compete with Juventus for the league title.

Spurs are looking for €20 million for Eriksen, a fee considered too high by the Milanese side.

Biasin said on Twitter today: “In the week the first meeting between Inter and Tottenham has been scheduled to establish the price of Eriksen’s signature and try to get him in January. The proposed player will be hired for 7 million.”
