Italian journalist Luca Marchetti discussed the Nerazzurri’s current position in the transfer market in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia today.

“The Inter coach has asked that the club finalise the negotiations as soon as possible. Inter have important goals. Meanwhile the average number of players the Nerazzurri are looking for is over 30, players coming from big clubs like Barcelona, United and Tottenham.”

“The club has structured its purchasing campaign on experienced, low-cost players. It’s called the ‘Instant market’, they are players ready to jump in immediately and help the squad to close the gap with Juventus.”

Marchetti then spoke about the current position of Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal, who the Nerazzurri have been looking at signing for months.

“The Chilean has been identified as the right player for mentality and can compensate for the team’s shortcomings. If Barcelona changes coaches.”

“However, Vidal could stay there. As for the Dane, in June his contract will expire, Inter will make an offer now and the player will evaluate whether the Inter offer can be equal or not compared to other offers received.”
