Former Tottenham forward Chris Waddle discussed Inter target Christian Eriksen and the Nerazzurri’s attempts to sign the player in an interview in yesterday’s paper edition of the British newspaper Racing Post.

“Tottenham should try to sell Eriksen if they don’t want to lose him almost certainly for free in the summer. It’s clear that Mourinho doesn’t care so much about the Dane, who could move to Serie A or La Liga. If Inter offered about 15 million pounds Spurs would be biting their fingers if they declined.”

Eriksen, who has been with Spurs since 2013, has made 25 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1455 minutes.

He has scored three goals and provided three assists in that time, struggling on the pitch due to his wishes to leave the club. A move away from North London in the summer collapsed, forcing him to stay another season in the Premier League.
