Inter defender Diego Godin discussed the Nerazzurri’s tough 1-1 draw against Atalanta on Saturday night with a post on his Instagram page.

The 33-year-old Uruguayan defender, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2022, played the full 90 minutes in the game, helping to nullify the Bergamo based club’s attack and ensuring that the club still left the San Siro with a point. The player has made 17 appearances across all competitions for the Milanese club so far this season.

Godin posted a photo from after the game alongside the caption: “We didn’t manage to win but we earnt an important point in a difficult game, so let’s end a very positive first half of the season. We must continue to work on our next commitments!”
