Inter had zero goalscorers from the substitutes bench during the first half of the 2019/20 Serie A season, a report in today’s print edition of Roman newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri are the third highest goalscorers in the league with 40 in their 19 games to date and despite this, not one of those goals have come from a player that has come off of the substitutes bench during the course of matches.

In fact, Inter have only had one goal scored by a substitute all season with that goal coming from Nicolo Barella during the 1-1 draw with Slavia Prague on the opening day of the Champions League group stage.
