Inter are discussing the possibility to sending Italian international winger Matteo Politano to Roma in exchange for Italian international fullback Leonardo Spinazzola, Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reported moments ago.

According to the report, the two clubs are discussing the formula of the transfer which could either be a definitive swap or two loan deals with options to make the deal permanent, what is clear is that both clubs value their respective player at €25 million.

Furthermore it is reported that, the idea was born earlier today and is looking like it could be concluded already tomorrow, given that agent Davide Lippe represents both players.

Once this deal is concluded and Politano leaves the Nerazzurri, it will have the domino effect that Inter will proceed to sign Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud, after having identified him as the ideal player to play a back-up role to Romelu Lukaku.
