This week will represent a real turning point for Inter’s pursuits of several players one way or another according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta wishes to see if a deal with Barcelona for Arturo Vidal is at all possible, if not, Inter will go all in for Spurs Christian Eriksen to bolster the club’s midfield. A deal for Eriksen is by no means easy though due to Spurs high demands for him.

It goes on to add that Inter have done all they possibly can with regard to signing Ashley Young from Manchester United and now it is up to the player himself to secure his exit from the Premier League club.

The report from the Roman newspaper also states that Inter will soon meet with city rivals AC Milan to discuss a potential deal for Matteo Politano. If a deal is reached and Politano departs, Inter will try sign Olivier Giroud, who has already agreed personal terms, from Chelsea.
