Inter and Roma have found an agreement regarding the swap deal involving Italian international winger Matteo Politano and fellow Azzurri teammate, full-back Leonardo Spinazzola.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who broke this story moments ago and reports further that Spinazzola has already agreed terms with Inter, whilst Politano is yet to find an agreement with Roma.

Furthermore, it is reported that both clubs have given each player permission to travel to their new destination tomorrow to undergo their mandatory medical examinations, before putting pen to paper on their contracts.

The deal will be a basis on a straight swap deal on a permanent basis but it remains to be seen if the swap will become permanent in June or during this transfer window.

This means that both players could go on loan to the other club until June before the deal is made permanent. If this occurs it will mainly be for financial statement reasons so as to not risk violating UEFA’s Financial Fair Play rules.
