Inter have offered Christian Eriksen the opportunity to double his wages according to a report from British newspaper The Mirror.

The Danish international currently earns £80,000 a week with Spurs and Inter are ready to offer him £160,000 a week to join them.

Eriksen’s contract with Spurs is due to expire at the end of the season and Inter are hopeful that in offering this deal, which comes with big bonuses for winning trophies, they will be able to beat other interested clubs to his signature.

Inter wish to sign him this month and are understood to have made an offer in and around the £20 million mark. The Nerazzurri would also seemingly be willing to include Matias Vecino as a makeweight but Spurs would prefer a young prospect is included instead.

This season Eriksen has made 25 appearances across all competitions for Spurs, who he has played for since 2013. In 1455 appearances, he has scored three goals and tallied as many assists.
