Inter’s Austrian international full-back Valentino Lazaro, stopped by Italian broadcaster InterTV to share his thoughts going into the Coppa Italia clash against Cagliari at home at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district, with kick-off scheduled at 20.45 CET.

The former Hertha Berlin player underlined that tonight’s match was a chance for players who haven’t featured that much to show their worth to Inter coach Antonio Conte.

“This is a game we really want to play and it will be a completely different game to the last one in the Serie A against Atalanta. We want to win and progress through to the next round, but we have to demonstrate this out there on the pitch.”

“Tonight is also among other things, a chance for those who haven’t played that much to go out on the pitch as well.”

Valentino Lazaro joined Inter this last summer from Bundeliga outfit Hertha Berlin for a fee reportedly around €22,4 million. He has featured 10 times for the Nerazzurri since making the switch across all competitions failing to score but having made 2 assists.
