Tottenham Hotspur have offered Inter the opportunity to sign Christian Eriksen from them this month for €20 million according to a report from FCInterNews.it.
Inter have already agreed personal terms with the 27-year-old Danish international on the basis of a four year contract with an annual salary of €10 million but Spurs are desperate to avoid losing him for nothing in six months time which is why they have offered him to Inter.
The report however goes on to state that Inter consider Spurs demands for the former Ajax man to be excessive given his expiring contract status and are in no hurry to complete a move.
With a few weeks still to go until the transfer window closes, the report suggests this could be a strategic move from Inter who know Spurs will only get more desperate to sell Eriksen as the window goes on and therefore may be able to get him cheaper.
