Olivier Giroud’s agent Michel Manuello is expected in Milan tomorrow to seal his client’s transfer to Inter according to a report from French broadcaster RMC Sport.

The clubs have not struck an agreement just yet but are getting close to agreeing on a deal that will be worth about €6.5 million in total, including bonuses.

Inter have tabled a two and a half year contract to the veteran Frenchman and the final details of that also need to be ironed out.

Giroud has been with Chelsea since January 2018 and has seen himself plummet down the club’s pecking order this season and has been limited to just seven appearances across all competitions.

The 33-year-old last appeared for the Premier League side at the end of November and he has not been in the squad for their last seven Premier League squads.

In 282 minutes on the field this term, the former Arsenal man, who was part of the France side that won the 2018 World Cup, has scored once.
