Inter have raised their offer for Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Italia.

The Nerazzurri had originally not wanted to spend above €10 million but are now understood to have offered Spurs €15 million plus bonuses for the 27-year-old Danish international.

Eriksen’s contract with the north London club is set to expire at the end of the season meaning he could be brought in for nothing but Inter do not wish to wait until then to sign him.

Inter’s desire to bring Eriksen in now will completely suit Spurs who are believed to be desperate to offload the former Ajax man this month as they do not want to let him go for nothing.

The report goes on to add that an agreement in principle over personal terms has already been struck and the player himself is open to completing a move to the Nerazzurri this month.
