Inter will meet with Christian Eriksen’s agent later on today with a view to finalising a deal to bring the Dane to the club according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

The parties are working on the basis that Eriksen will join in the Summer once his deal with Spurs expires but that is not to say that things may change between now and the end of the January transfer window.

Inter have offered the 27-year-old a four year contract with an annual net salary of €10 million and it is understood that he is accepted this offer.

As things stand, Spurs are demanding €20 million to let him go this month but Inter want to spend no more than €8-10 million for him giving in a matter of weeks he would be able to join for nothing.

The report does however go on to state that in the coming days Spurs could well lower their demands due to being desperate to not lose him for nothing.
