Arturo Vidal will continue to try and push to secure a move to Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Vidal gave Inter manager Antonio Conte his word that he would leave Barcelona to be reunited with him at Inter and has every intention of honouring his word.

Whilst Vidal’s intentions are clear, it remains to be seen if Barcelona and new Barcelona manager Quique Setien will allow him to depart this month.

Inter have turned their attention toward signing Christian Eriksen in the meantime but that is not to say they might not go back in for Vidal.

Inter are at work trying to bring in Eriksen on a free transfer from Tottenham Hotspur and further contact between the Nerazzurri and his representatives could possibly take place today.

Eriksen’s deal with Spurs is up at the end of the season and Spurs are desperate to not lose him for nothing so they have therefore offered him out for €20 million. Inter are understood to not want to pay that much and it remains to be seen if they will bring Eriksen in this month rather than waiting until the Summer.
