Tottenham Hotspur are refusing to drop their €20 million demands for playmaker Christian Eriksen according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Eriksen’s agent Martin Schoots met with Spurs management last night after their 2-1 FA Cup replay win over Middlesbrough and the north London club made it clear they are willing to let his client go but only so long as interested clubs pay €20 million.

Inter are understood to have tabled an offer between €8-10 million for the 27-year-old Danish international and will therefore have to up their bid if they wish to land him this month.

Eriksen has reached two different agreements with Inter regarding personal terms and it all depends on when he joins the club.

If he joins this month he will sign a four and a half year deal. He will earn €4 million for the rest of the season and €9 million in each of the four full seasons. If he joins at the end of the season on a free transfer, he will instead earn €10 million per season.
