Inter have lined up Nigerian international wingback Victor Moses should the Leonardo Spinazzola – Matteo Politano swap deal between the Nerazzurri and Roma fall apart.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio who moments ago revealed on air that the Nerazzurri have a back-up plan should an agreement with Roma not be found.

Moses is currently on loan from Chelsea at Fenerbahce in the Turkish SüperLig but he spent two very successful seasons with current Inter coach Antonio Conte at Chelsea winning both the Premier League and the FA Cup.

The reason Inter are looking at back-up players to Spinazzola, is that after having agreed to change the formula of the transfer with Roma from a loan with an obligation to buy, to a loan with an option to buy which becomes an obligation to buy after Spinazzola makes 15 appearances, the two clubs are now disagreeing as to what constitutes an appearance.

Roma argue that simply stepping onto the pitch should count as an appearance whilst Inter are demanding that an appearance should mean playing 45 minutes consecutively.
