Inter and Tottenham Hotspur are in talks over the transfer of Matias Vecino according to a report on the website of transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla.

The two clubs are currently trying to work out a transfer formula for the 28-year-old Uruguayan international midfielder in negotiations that are taking place separately to those concerning Christian Eriksen.

Vecino’s relationship with Inter manager Antonio Conte has reportedly broken down and Inter are looking to get €20 million for him, a sum that would really help them out in their pursuits of their transfer targets.

Vecino has drawn links to other clubs including Everton but Carlo Ancelotti’s side are now understood to have cooled their interest in signing him.

Former club Fiorentina have also been linked by some but Pedulla’s report states that La Viola have never been interested in bringing him back to the club.

This season Vecino has made 17 appearances across all competitions, in which he has scored two goals and tallied a single assist.
