Romelu Lukaku became the fifth player in Europe’s top five leagues to score five braces when he scored a brace in Inter’s 4-1 rout of Cagliari in the Coppa Italia on Tuesday night, sports analytics company Opta have highlighted.

The 26-year-old Belgian took his goal tally for the season to 18 in 25 games by putting the ball in the net twice against the Rossoblu.

Lukaku is in pretty esteemed company with Robert Lewandowski, Sergio Aguero, Timo Werner and Ciro Immobile all also scoring at least five braces this term.

Opta have also highlighted that the first goal, that came after just 21 seconds on the clock, was also the quickest goal scored by a Serie A player in all competitions this season.
