Inter central midfielder Nicolo Barella is hoping to do even better than he had been in the past now he has fully recovered from a knee injury that has sidelined him.

“Inter wanted me a lot, I have done everything to try and repay the trust they have shown in me. I did get injured but this is part of football. I have now returned and I hope to pick up where I left off and do even better,” he revealed in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.

He then went on to speak about how it has been to work under Antonio Conte at the Nerazzurri.

“Conte has helped me a lot when it comes to tactics and he has told me which positions I should put myself in. He is obsessive about this. Conte gets 110% out of you, even players such as myself who are already giving everything they can when they take to the field.”
