A report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport has analysed the current position of the Nerazzurri squad and which players are likely to start against Lecce tomorrow.

The report details how 20-year-old Italian defender Alessandro Bastoni isn’t fully fit but is still ahead of Uruguayan defender Diego Godin in coach Antonio Conte’s hierarchy. Italian midfielder Nicolo Barella has returned from his yellow card suspension and will be able to take over from Roberto Gagliardini in the midfield.

Two players won’t be playing due to Inter’s work in the transfer market, the report continues. Uruguayan midfielder Matias Vecino and Italian forward Matteo Politano will both be out of the starting 11 due to the Milanese clubs attempts to offload the players this month. New arrival Ashley Young will be on the bench as he adapts to coach Antonio Conte’s tactical system, with Ghanaian full back Kwadwo Asamoah set to return from his injury. Star midfielder Stefano Sensi is again expected to start.

Probabile Inter line-up (3-5-2): Samir Handanovic; Milan Skriniar, Stefan De Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni; Antonio Candreva, Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic, Stefano Sensi, Cristiano Biraghi; Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez.
