Inter posted a video about the latest player to join the Nerazzurri squad, former Manchester United full back Ashley Young, on their Twitter page this morning.

The 34-year-old English defender signed for the Nerazzurri yesterday on an initial six-month loan deal, with an option to extend for next season as well. Young had made 18 appearances across all competitions for the Red Devils this season but has struggled to earn consistent playing time since November.

Young narrates over the video, saying: “When Inter won it all, I was young. When the last English player joined in this club, I was young. When I started to write my story, I was young. When I evolved my position, I was young. When I played 45 games in 2019, I was young. Rivals, teammates, stadiums, trophies, I’ve seen it all. But I haven’t changed. I am still me.”
