A report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia has highlighted all the players who won’t be joining Inter for their trip down to Puglia to face Lecce tomorrow.

The report details how 26-year-old Italian striker Matteo Politano will not be joining the team for tomorrow’s game, due to his failed move to fellow Italian side Roma. The player was only inches away from joining the Giallorossi, but the deal collapsed at the last minute, forcing him to return home to Inter.

New arrival Ashley Young also won’t be joining the squad, as announced by coach Antonio Conte in a press conference earlier today.

Italian full back Danilo D’Ambrosio trained separately today and so is in no condition to join the squad, the report continues. Uruguayan midfielder Matias Vecino didn’t join the squad either due to his current situation on the transfer market.

Finally, both Roberto Gagliardini and Kwadwo Asamoah went home rather than making the trip to Puglia due to different injury concerns.
