German side Bayern Munich are not looking to enact the buy option attached to Inter owned forward Ivan Perisic, despite his strong performances, according to a report from Sunday’s paper edition of the German newspaper Bild.

The report details how the 30-year-old Croatian forward, who is currently on loan with the Bundesliga giants until the end of the season, scored a goal and provided an assist in Bayern’s 4-0 win over Hertha Berlin yesterday. Perisic was making his seventh league start in the game, impressing again both on and off the ball.

Inter are still hoping that the German club will pay €20 million for Perisic’s signature, the report continues.

Bayern, however, remain unconvinced for the time being.

Perisic has made 20 appearances across all competitions for a total of 1043 minutes so far this season, scoring five goals and providing seven assists in that time. His current contract with Inter expires in June of 2022.
