Inter Sporting Director Piero Ausilio has confirmed to that Inter have made an offer to Tottenham Hotspur to sign Danish international midfielder Christian Eriksen moments ago in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.

“As all players with great quality he has attracted the interest of many clubs. We are giving it a go, we have presented an offer to Tottenham. It is very difficult, we will play our cards and see if we can bring this over the finish line.”

Ausilio continued by confirming rumors by confirming that there is an agreement in place with Chelsea for Victor Moses.

“These are evaluations we are making, it’s an idea and we have an agreement in principle with Chelsea who are pretty available.

“With the coach we will analyze the situation, numerically we will increase the squad with players that play on the wing. We have to have the same number of players coming in as we do that leave, I wont mention any names or situations but we will look at what the transfer window offers us.”

In conclusion he spoke about the controversy surrounding the collapse of the Spinazzola – Politano swap with Roma whose Sporting Director Petrachi Ausilio criticized.

“This is the last thing we will say on this issue, for us this matter is closed. There was a short-circuit but it is a word that he [Petrachi] knows well. He is the best person adapted to explain what a short-circuit is given the press conferences he’s given.”

“We are all on the same page, if we go after a player it is because we are all in agreement and alligned on the same page. If this is something that the Sporting Director of Roma does not understand then that is his problem. You look inside your own house, you have to have respect for your colleagues and everyone should focus on their own problems.”

“Politano is an important player, he is an asset of this club. If there is a possibility to make this deal, we will look to make the lad happy. He is an attacker, the numbers are what they are. If he were to leave we will look to find good opportunities.”
