Danish international midfielder Christian Eriksen met earlier today with executives representing Tottenham, including club owner Daniel Levy, to reiterate his desire to join Inter, Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reported on air moments ago.

According to the report, the two clubs continue to work on finding an agreement as negotiations continue to try and overcome the distance between Inter’s offer and Tottenham’s asking price of €20 million.

Several reports in Italy have suggested that Inter are currently offering €15 million in total with transfer fee and add-ons whilst Spurs remain adamant that they want €20 million.

According to several reports in Italy Eriksen has offered to give up around €2 million in outstanding payments he is owed by the Premier League outfit in order to help reduce the distance between the two clubs.

The parties have decided to resume talks tomorrow in order to try and bring the deal over finish line.
