Inter Confirm Brozovic Has Sustained A Sprained Ankle

Inter have confirmed that Marcelo Brozovic has sustained a sprained ankle through way of an official statement posted on the official club website.

“Marcelo Brozovic underwent magnetic resonance imaging at the Humanitas Institute in Rozzano today after a trauma suffered at the end of the match against Lecce,” it begins.

“The tests revealed a sprained left ankle. The player will be evaluated day after day.”

The 27-year-old has been almost ever present for Inter this season having played in 26 of the club’s 27 games to date. In just under 2300 minutes, he has scored two goals and tallied a handful of assists.
