Several Inter first team players left on loan during the Summer transfer window and in this SempreInter.com feature, the progress of each player’s spell out on loan will be documented on a week-by-week basis.

Mauro Icardi – Paris Saint Germain: Icardi failed to score for the second game running as PSG ran out 4-1 winners over Monaco, which came just days after a thrilling 3-3 draw between the sides. The 26-year-old striker played 74 minutes but managed just one shot but was unable to direct it on target. It was a pretty poor game overall for the Argentine who had just two touches in the box and a 75% pass completion rate.

Total stats (all competitions): 21 appearances, 17 goals, 4 assists.

Ivan Perisic – Bayern Munich: The reigning German champions smashed Hertha Berlin 4-0 and Perisic played a key role in that as he scored once and assisted one of the other goals. Despite this fine performance, reports have emerged in both the German and Italian media in recent days that Bayern do not intend to take up their option to buy him at the end of this season.

Total stats (all competitions): 21 appearances, 5 goals, 6 assists.

Radja Nainggolan – Cagliari: There was no happy return for Nainggolan as he returned to San Siro to face Inter for the first time since being loaned out this Summer. Nainggolan’s Cagliari were well beaten 4-1 by a much rotated Inter side in the Coppa Italia. The only real positive he could take from the match was his 92% pass accuracy

The Belgian also played all of the 2-2 draw with Brescia over the weekend but for the eighth game running across all competitions, he was unable to contribute any goals or assists. It was a pretty poor match for him as he gave the ball away no less than 13 times.

Total stats (all competitions): 20 appearances, 4 goals, 5 assists.

Dalbert – Fiorentina: Dalbert grabbed his fifth assist of the season as he provided an assist for one of La Viola’s two goals in their surprise 2-1 Coppa Italia win over high-flying Atalanta. He also played the full match as Fiorentina won 2-0 away to Napoli over the weekend but was unable to make much of an impact and performed rather poorly. He had just one successful cross and won 50% of his defensive duels.

Total stats (all competitions): 21 appearances, 5 assists.

Joao Mario – Lokomotiv Moscow: Joao Mario returned to training a few days ago having recovered from a broken toe. The Russian side are currently preparing for the second half of the season that starts up for them on February 5 with a Moscow derby against Spartak Moscow.

Total stats (all competitions): 12 appearances, 1 goal, 4 assists.

Ionut Andrei Radu – Genoa: Radu was an unused substitute as Genoa were smashed 3-1 at home to Roma. The Romanian shot-stopper looks set to be recalled by Inter going by reports. Some reports have suggested he could be loaned out elsewhere for the remainder of the season whilst others have said Inter manager Antonio Conte is a big fan of him and could keep him around to learn from current Inter number one, Samir Handanovic.

Total stats (all competitions): 19 appearances, 37 conceded, 2 clean sheet.

Andrea Pinamonti – Genoa: Pinamonti like Radu was an unused substitute for the match against the Giallorossi. Reports in the media in recent days have suggested he may not be around at Genoa for the second half of the season. Genoa have an obligation to buy Pinamonti at the end of this season from Inter but reports have suggested they could negotiate with Inter to sign him permanently this month to allow them to loan him out.

Total stats (all competitions): 17 appearances, 4 goals, 3 assists.

Yann Karamoh – Parma: Karamoh remains out on the sidelines due to a torn lateral collateral ligament. He has been out injured for a few months now but it remains a mystery as to when he could potentially return.

Total stats (all competitions): 6 appearances, 1 goal, 1 assist.

There could be some additions to the The Nerazzurri Loan Update for the next edition with Valentino Lazaro and Matteo Politano both being heavily linked with loan moves away from the club.

Lazaro has drawn strong links with Premier League side Newcastle United whilst Politano could end up at fellow Serie A side Roma, at least going by the reports circulating in the media at the moment.
