Matteo Politano is open to completing a move to Napoli from Inter according to a report on the website of Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.
His representatives met with Napoli’s sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli in a hotel in Milan earlier this evening to hold talks and the meeting is understood to have been a positive one.
As per other reports in the media, Inter are demanding a sum of €25 million for the former Sassuolo player, who has found opportunities to impress as a starter this season very limited.
The report from Di Marzio goes on to add that the clubs are meanwhile discussing the possible inclusion of Fernando Llorente as part of the deal.
The 34-year-old Spanish striker could be loaned to Inter for the remainder of the season and if this were to happen, Olivier Giroud’s move to the Nerazzurri club from Chelsea would be off.
