Despite reports suggesting that Inter and Tottenham have found an agreement regarding the transfer of Danish international midfielder Christian Eriksen, Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reported moments ago on air that this was not the case.
According to the report, negotiations are ongoing non-stop between the two clubs to try and drag the deal over the finish line.
Di Marzio reports further that Inter are hoping that time is on their side as they hope to lower the €20 million price tag that Tottenham have slapped on the former Ajax player.
This, because they are counting on that the player’s desire to join the Nerazzurri during this transfer window will be decisive, especially after having told Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy this to his face personally.
