Napoli are trying to include Fernando Llorente in a deal with Inter in a bid to save money as they try and sign Matteo Politano according to a report in today’s print edition of Libero.

Inter and Napoli have reached an agreement in principle for Politano to join Napoli on loan for €3 million with a €17 million obligation to buy attached but those terms could well change if Llorente ends up being included in the deal.

Before accepting a move to Napoli, Politano is waiting to see if Roma will come back in for him. Last week Politano looked set to join the Giallorossi club as part of a swap deal that would have sent Leonardo Spinazzola to Inter but that deal collapsed at the last minute. For the time being anyway, a move to Roma remains Politano’s first choice.

This season Politano has made 15 appearances across all competitions but just two of which have come as a starter. The former Sassuolo player has failed to make any goal contributions.
