Napoli are to meet with Matteo Politano’s representatives for further talks today as they look to sign him from Inter according to a report on the website of Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Partenopei have already agreed terms with Inter over an 18 month loan deal with a €25 million obligation to buy attached to it and now they are trying to agree terms with the player himself.
Napoli meet with the 26-year-old’s representatives last night in Milan and talks went very well with the report claiming an agreement was very nearly reached. Today’s meeting could therefore see an agreement over personal terms reached.
The report goes on to add that the two clubs are also discussing the possibility of the inclusion of striker Fernando Llorente in the deal on a six month loan.
The 34-year-old Spaniard would add depth to Inter’s attacking department and should he arrive, it would rule out Olivier Giroud joining Inter from Chelsea.
