Ashley Young will be handed his Inter debut this weekend when Inter take on Cagliari according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.

The 34-year-old joined Inter on an initial six month deal from Manchester United a week ago and will take the place of the suspended Antonio Candreva in the starting line-up at right wing back.

The 39-time England international, who has arrived at Inter with a wealth of experience, will be one of a few players who will be coming into the starting line-up in place of others.

Alessandro Bastoni will make a return to the starting line-up in place of Diego Godin, having started last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Lecce on the bench.

Borja Valero will also come back into the starting line-up. The veteran Spanish central midfielder will take the place of Marcelo Brozovic, who is currently dealing with a sprained ankle.

Probable Inter starting line-up (3-5-2): Samir Handanovic; Milan Skriniar, Stefan de Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni; Ashley Young, Nicolo Barella, Borja Valero, Stefano Sensi, Cristiano Biraghi; Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez.
