Napoli are losing patience with Inter winger Matteo Politano who does not seem entirely convinced about the idea of joining them according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Napoli reached an agreement with Inter on the basis of an 18 month loan with obligation to buy deal for the 26-year-old a few days ago and Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli could well end up returning to Naples without having secured a ‘yes’ from Politano.

Should the deal collapse, it will only complicate matters for Inter, who were relying on his departure before bringing in another player, the report goes on to explain.

Inter have already agreed terms with Chelsea over the transfer of Olivier Giroud and also have an agreement over personal terms with the Frenchman. The 33-year-old striker’s representatives are understood to remain confident that their client will move to the Nerazzurri.

This season Giroud has made just seven appearances across all competitions, in which he has scored a single goal.
